Joan Nelson Hook is
the senior attorney in the Hook Law Group. Joan opened her
law office (formerly Joan Nelson Hook, P.A.) in 1993, and very
quickly became committed to the practice of Elder Law. Joan
became Board Certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar Association
in 1999. She has been actively involved in the community in
an effort to increase awareness of elder law issues and championing
the rights of developmentally disabled adults to receive the
legal protections which are their birthright. Joan has also
been actively involved in advocating for elderly citizens by
working on legislation to protect them from exploitation and
abuse while retaining their dignity and independence.
